Why is my HUSH code not working?

Most likely it has expired. HUSH codes do expire, and both codes we know of (HUSH4K and SORRY20K) are now reported expired. Also make sure you typed it exactly as written and that you are in HUSH [Zombie Extraction] by Blue Code Studios, not another game called HUSH.

Is this the same as HUSH: They can hear?

No. The codes on this page are for HUSH [Zombie Extraction] by Blue Code Studios. HUSH: They can hear. is a different Roblox game by theInstigators, and this page does not cover its codes.
