Privacy Policy (Draft)

DRAFT – this policy has not been approved yet and may change before it takes effect.

This policy explains what information HUSH Wiki ("we", "us") collects when you visit hushwiki.com, and how we use it. HUSH Wiki is an unofficial fan site for HUSH [Zombie Extraction] on Roblox and is not affiliated with Blue Code Studios or Roblox Corporation.

What you can do without giving us anything

You can read every page without an account and without giving us any personal information. There are no logins on this site.

Error reports and code submissions

When you use Report an error or Submit a new code, we store:

• the page and, if you used a row's Report link, the entry you reported;
• what you typed: the problem type, your description, any evidence or source link, and for codes the code, reward and whether you tested it;
• your email address, only if you choose to give it. We use it only to reply to you about your submission. We don't use it for marketing, we don't publish it, and we don't share it with anyone else;
• a salted, one-way hash of your IP address, which we use to stop spam and enforce a submission limit. We don't store your IP address in plain text;
• your browser's user-agent string (shortened), to help spot abuse.

We use this information only to review and correct the site. Submissions are never published automatically.

How long we keep it: up to 12 months after you submit it, then we delete it.

Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

The forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a human is submitting. Turnstile only loads when you open a form. Cloudflare processes data such as your IP address and browser signals to do this check, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

Analytics

We use analytics (Google Analytics 4 and/or Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page views and understand which guides are useful. These tools may collect your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. Google Analytics uses cookies; Cloudflare Web Analytics does not.

Advertising

We plan to show ads through Google AdSense. When ads are on, Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads, including personalised ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn more and opt out of personalised ads at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads and https://adssettings.google.com. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used.

YouTube videos

Some entries have a "Watch on YouTube" link. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click it. After you click, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com and Google's privacy policy applies.

Local storage

We may save small preferences, such as your light or dark theme choice, in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device.

Children

This site is a general-audience game guide. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please don't include your email address in a form. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and deletion requests

To ask what we hold about you, or to have a submission or your email address deleted, email support@hushwiki.com. Tell us roughly when you submitted and which page it was about, so we can find it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and its date.
